Targeted Advertising Considered Harmful

Web ads are consistently less valuable to advertisers than ads in older media. The more targetable that an ad medium is, the less it’s worth, as seen in Mary Meeker’s Internet Trends 2012. What is going on with with “print”? It took up seven percent of people’s media time, but 25% of ad budgets.
