Outdoor Advertising Companies Post Improved Revenue in Third Quarter

As other traditional media categories suffer ad declines, out-of-home has been fairly resilient.

Out-of-home ad spending represents a small sliver of marketers’ ad budgets. Advertisers in the U.S. spent just $4.4 billion on outdoor ads last year.

The biggest outdoor advertisers in the U.S. last year were McDonald’s, Metro PCS Wireless, Apple, Geico and Warner Bros. Pictures, per Kantar Media’s data.
